This notice describes the public website offered without sign-in.

Accounts and contact details

There is no account registration, sign-in, phone-number collection or access to your Toss account. The website does not request marketing-text consent or send such messages.

Information stored in this browser

Browser storage holds recent and saved routes and stations, stops and time/train conditions, auto-refresh preferences, language and map state. These do not sync to other devices or browsers. Tabs on the same site share one latest route response, its query and storage time through local storage and tab messages to reduce duplicate requests. Automatic refresh can reuse the cache for up to 30 seconds; the last entry may remain until site data is cleared. The selected neighborhood station and up to 16 city/weather responses are stored in this browser. A previous successful response up to 24 hours old may be marked as stale during an outage. Clearing site data removes this cache.

Settings let you clear recent history and saved items. Use your browser’s clear-site-data feature to remove all preferences and cached responses. Some saving and automatic-refresh features may be unavailable when storage is blocked.

Data requests

Stations, origin, destination, intermediate stops and time/train conditions needed for a query are sent to api.corea24.com. Requests do not include a phone number or Toss account. Connecting to the site exposes technical information such as your IP address, request time and URL to servers and hosting infrastructure. Opening the neighborhood map loads Naver Maps SDK and tiles. Connection information such as IP address and referring domain may be sent to Naver. Places are shown using supplied coordinates or address search results. Location permission is requested only when you select directions from your current location; you can choose a departure station if you decline. Driving directions send origin and destination coordinates to Naver through the API server. Current-location coordinates are not saved in browser storage. Road routes, distances and estimated driving times are separate from subway guidance and do not describe walking routes.

The station selected in the top search controls local weather and neighborhood information. City Hall is the initial station; later selections are remembered. This is neither a citywide average nor your current location.

Sharing and browser history

Shared URLs can include departure, arrival, intermediate stops, selected time/train conditions and result type. URLs may remain in browser history, and recipients can see the conditions. The sharing feature does not send a link to other people before you use it.

City data is cached for 3 minutes and weather for 10 minutes. Typing, category changes, idle time and tab focus do not trigger automatic polling. Repeated refresh clicks are combined within 30 seconds.
